Alan
I started guiding at Chek Jawa in August 2003. I guide because I like to share. Chek Jawa is a beautiful place where we can learn so much from it. The most important lesson that I have learnt from it is that we are all fragile in many ways and we have to depend on each other for our survival. The drills taught me how to be patient and determine to achieve my goals. The tiny crabs on the shore during low tides remind me how tiny and vulnerable one can be in this world. The rocks teach me to stand firm despite all weather conditions and adversities. I love nature and always hope to have more time with it. I hope to spread this love for nature to my four lovely kids (3 girls and a little boy). |
