boulder coral Porites sp. Class Anthozoa This brownish hard coral is common in the coral rubble area. They have tiny polyps and grow well in strong currents. The colonies grow to 20-30cm across. Elsewhere, these corals can grow to a large size. A closer look at the tiny polyps. |
