capsules of cuttlefish Class Cephalopoda Some cuttlefish add ink to their egg capsules so they are black. These egg capsules are attached to seagrass, seaweed, tubeworm tubes or other hard surfaces in the lagoon. The capsules are transparent when the babies hatch. |
