anemone Stichodactyla sp. Order Actiniaria These small Silversides (Atherinomorus sp.) blundered into a carpet anemone as the tide receeded. After a brief struggle, the fishes lay still, paralysed, and the carpet anemone proceeded to fold its large oral disc over them. |
