dollars Class Echinoidea Like other echinoderms, sand dollars can repair and recover from minor damage. Tiny spines have grown over the part of this sand dollar that got broken. However, please don't purposely mutilate sand dollars. They take a long time to recover. If the damage is major, they may die. |
