crab Dotilla sp. Family Ocypodidae Soldier crabs are common on the northern arm of the sand bar, but seldom. They can feel the footsteps of approaching humans and they disappear into their burrows long before you can reach them. To see them, you have to wait patiently next to their burrows until they re-emerge. |
