Button shells
Umbonium vestiarum
Family Trochidae

Button shells usually lie buried just beneath the sand. Sometimes, in a pool of water, they might just peep out of the sand.

They are so beautiful some of the guides have dubbed them Jewels of Chek Jawa.

The shell is 1cm or less in diameter.
