seagrass lagoon

Crown sea star
Asterina coronata
Family Asterinidae

These sea stars can be quite common at times. They are only seen at night when they are seen among the seagrasses and seaweeds. Even so, they are hard to spot as most blend in with the sand and mud. Some, however, were bright orange!
