Dates: June 14, 21 and 28 (Sats)
Time: 2.30-5pm
Place: Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

Discover the artist within by exploring the inspiring natural areas of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Participants must attend all 3 sessions. Bring your own drawing materials - pencils, drawing papers (watercolours, coloured pencils are optional). Free on first come first serve basis. Pre-booking required, limited to 25 people. Admission charges to the Reserve apply ($1 per adult, 50cents per child /student/senior citizen).

14 Jun (Sat): Free guided walks of Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
Time: 9am, 10am, 3pm, 4pm

You'll see the fabulous plants and animals of the mangroves and freshwater wetlands. Meet at the Visitor Centre. Usual entry charges apply: $1 per adult, 50cents per child /student/senior citizen. More details

15 Jun (Sun): Visit to Khatib Bongsu
Time: 7.30am at the Dam of the Lower Seletar Reservoir at the end of Yishun Avenue 1

Visit Khatib Bongsu with Ho Hua Chew Meet of the Nature Society (Singapore). This trip is for those who could not make it on May 11, or who wish to visit this lovely and important nature area again before it goes.

15 Jun (Sun): Butterfly Walk at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
Time: 9.30am at the Visitor Centre
Open only to NSS members and associates

Butterfly Walk at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve with Jing Ling of the Nature Society (Singapore). We will be taking a leisurely stroll on Route One, on the left side after the main bridge. Lovelies seen here include the Sumatran Sunbeam, the Blue Glassy Tiger and the similar-looking Dark Glassy Tiger, the fast-flying Banded Swallowtail and the black and white Common Mormon. We also hope to encounter the rare Blue Nawab. Participants are advised to be as quiet as possible since Sungei Buloh is a bird sanctuary. Please bring enough water and insect repellent for this 2-3 hour walk. Reserve’s nominal entrance fee of $1 applies.
