Where seen? This large and somewhat featureless sea anemone is sometimes seen on our Northern shores, on broad silty sandy patches among seagrasses, as well as near mangroves. Seen during the day as well as at night.

Features: Diameter with tentacles expanded 10-15cm. Long tapering tentacles that are usually plain, in shades of blue, grey, brown, yellow and green. The oral disk is also plain and sometimes darker than the tentacles. The body column is dark and has large bumpy white verrucae.
