Cone headed octopus
awaiting identification*
Class Cephalopoda
updated Oct 08

Where seen? This small octopus with a cone-shaped head is sometimes seen on Sentosa.

Features: Head about 2-3cm long, arms may be 10cm long. The head smooth and conical, and arms often held hidden under the head. Not observed to change the texture of the skins into bumps or spines. Often one white circle in between the eyes.

It is possible that it's just a young Two-spot octopus.
