Where seen? This snail is sometimes seen in our back mangroves, on mangrove trees. It was previously known as Cassidula mustelina.

Features: 2-3cm. Shell thick and oval, with dark and light brown spiralling bands and pinkish violet at the shell opening. It breathes air (instead of through gills like most other marine snails).

What does it eat? It grazes on algae growing on mangrove trees and on the ground.
