Where seen? This spiny drill is often seen alone or small numbers on large boulders and seawalls. Commonly seen on our Southern shores.

Features: 3-6cm. Shell thick with blunt spines. Shell opening wide, pale sometimes with some dark markings, no 'teeth'. The operculum is brown.
