seen?
These broad fringed red seaweeds are sometimes seen on our Southern
shores, in clumps attached to coral rubble near reefs.
Features: Clump of several long
flat blades, each about 15-20cm long. The edge of the blade divides
into many short branching filaments forming a heavy fringe. Colours
brown, orange to red. |
