Green
mussel Scientific name Family name Another favourite seafood of Singaporeans, Green mussels were seen growing on the sea wall. Like many other bivalves, it is dangerous to eat these at certain times of the year when there is a bloom of toxic algae. The algae doesn't kill the mussel, but will harm those that eat it. |
