the guided walk So
you've registered for a guided walk. What should you do?Getting to Ubin is half the fun! More about Pulau Ubin... Go to Changi jetty to catch a bumboat. Once 12 people have assembled at the jetty, the bumboat will move off. Enjoy a leisurely, breezy ride to another time and place. For more details, see how to get there? At Ubin jetty, clear signs direct you to the basketball court which is about a 3-minute walk from the jetty. The basketball court is opposite the Ubin Community Centre. Your short walk through Ubin town with interesting sights seldom seen on the mainland. Here's lots more about Ubin. ![]() At the basketball court, confirm your registration with the NParks officer there. You will then be directed to vans that will take you to Chek Jawa.
The volunteer guide assigned to you will join you in your van ride and introduce
you to Ubin on your journey to Chek Jawa.If you wish to cycle there, do confirm your registration first with the NParks officers at the Information Kiosk near Ubin jetty before you leave for Chek Jawa. On Chek Jawa, the volunteer guide will bring you along a safe route (safe for you and safe for the creatures living on Chek Jawa), to show you the wonders of Chek Jawa.
