25 Oct (Sat): Free visit to Khatib Bongsu
Time: 7.30am at the Dam of the Lower Seletar Reservoir at the end of Yishun Avenue 1

Visit Khatib Bongsu with Ho Hua Chew Meet of the Nature Society (Singapore). This lovely nature area is worth repeat visits. Come out here to enjoy the open spaces and the scenic beauty, and do a spot of birdwatching too. We will be looking at how much the projected development will affect this site as it has not been included into the URA Master Plan. More details at the NSS Conservation Committee website.

25 Oct (Sat): Free guided walk of
Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

Time: 9am, 10am, 3pm, 4pm

You'll see the fabulous plants and animals of the mangroves and freshwater wetlands. Meet at the Visitor Centre. Usual entry charges apply: $1 per adult, 50cents per child /student/senior citizen. More details

Pasir Ris Park Mangrove/Spice Garden
Time: 10am.

26 Oct (Sun): Heritage Tree Bus Ramble
Time: morning to noon.
Open only to NSS members and associates

Join tree enthusiasts Keith Hillier and Shawn Lum and the Plant Group as we visit some of their favourite Heritage Trees. See some of Singapore’s most treasured citizens, ranging from venerable tembusu and lychee trees, to magnificent figs, angsanas, and much more. We will be ferried by bus, allowing us to see a good deal more than by making the pilgrimage entirely on foot. This trip is limited to 40 persons. The cost is $8/adult and $5/child below 12 years. 26 Oct (Sun): Kids Fun with Nature at a Rocky Shore
Time: 3.30pm. Meet at the Labrador Nature Reserve Car Park B at the end of Port Road, off Labrador Villa Road.
Place: Labrador Park Nature Reserve

"Fun with Nature" brings us to the Labrador Nature Reserve this time! Ever wonder who lives in tidal pools or under the rocks on a beach? Come discover the animals and plants that call this rocky shore home. Bring along a pencil and your nature journa. A nominal fee of $5 (members) or $10 (non-members) per kid will be collected. Pre-registration required.

Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

Pui San welcomes artists of all ages or anyone who wants to learn. His objective is to encourage creativity while enjoying nature at the same time. Bring along your favourite drawing or painting supplies. Meet 8.30am at the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve ticketing counter (Visitor Centre). Usual entry charges apply: $1 per adult, 50cents per child /student/senior citizen.
