24 Oct (Sun): Birdwatching at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
Time: 7.30am, meet at the Visitor Centre
Open only to NSS members and associates

October is a good month to see many shorebirds which have by now arrived at Sungei Buloh for “refuelling” before flying further south. Keith Hillier will introduce the spectacle of flocks of shorebirds wheeling and banking in flight. Hear the incessant calls and chatter of these wonderful creatures and watch them feed vigorously in the substrate. And as we walk through the reserve, look out for tailorbirds, sunbirds and kingfishers. Keith coordinates and trains the volunteer guides at Sungei Buloh and is definitely the man to lead us on this trip.
