Where seen? This enormously long feathery colony is sometimes seen washed up on the shore. It grows in deeper water and is more commonly encountered by divers.

Features: Each 'frond' 2m or longer, unbranched with feathery side branches. Colour beige.

Tiny nudibranchs are often seen on this colonial animal.
