Please don't bring egg blobs home. Thousands of baby animals may die.

Where seen? These translucent blobs are sometimes seen on our mudflats and sandflats. Seasonally, in large numbers.

Features: About 10cm long. Translucent with tiny eggs embedded in the mass. Usually attached to the group, often teardrop or light-bulb shaped when submerged. Possible animals responsible for laying these eggs include sea slugs and worms.
