Blue-lined flatworm
Pseudoceros sp.*
updated Nov 08

Where seen? This small white flatworm with blue lines is regularly encountered on many of our shores, on coral rubble near living reefs.

Features: 2-4cm long. There is a pair of erect pseudotentacles at the front made up of folded edges of the body, although not always obvious.

Grouped in this entry are flatworms with a generally bluish white or beige body with a bright blue margin and one blue stripe along the length of the body. The line ends with a little blue circle-dot near the head. In some the blue line along the middle of the body had yellow line in the centre. They don't ruffle the edges of their bodies as much as other flatworms do. It is possible that these are different species.
