Prunus Trail free guided walk Let a guide really show you the forest! Going on a tour with a volunteer guide is the best way to see and learn more about this special trail. The Prunus Trail is a boardwalk that hugs the reservoir for easy exploration of some freshwater wildlife. There are also breath-taking views of the reservoir and the surrounding forests. Interesting plants can be viewed along the boardwalk including the intriguing Ant plant (Macaranga sp.) and pitcher plants. If we are lucky, we might spot the White-breasted fish eagle, or kingfishers. Sometimes, we might even see the Flying lemur (Colugo) fast asleep high up on a tree! The Trail ends in a series of steps bringing you through a short stretch of interesting secondary forest. Up to 2 guides can be arranged for a session. At least 2 weeks' notice is required to ensure the availability of the nature guides. Want to volunteer at the Trail?
