is being developed as a rustic getaway from the urban jungle.

fresh air and some fresh farm produce while you're at it!
Some farms have visitor-friendly programmes that provide educational
and authentic farm experiences for visitors.
Green Circle Organic Farm
Visitors are welcome at the farm but guided tours are available for
groups only. Educational tours for school children are conducted to
expose children to the workings of nature and to stimulate an interest
in life sciences, to
see how our food is produced and to enjoy the farm ambience.
Also, cooking sessions, farm parties, overnight stays, home-organic
farming courses and health related activities and more.

Hay Dairies a small
goat farm, with about 1,000 goats of mixed breed, producing milk for
sale. Milking sessions from 9am to 11am, visitors encouraged to come
for this session. Milking demonstrations and briefings are held at
30 minute intervals during the following times: 9am, 9.30am, 10am
& 10.30am.

Lian Wah Hang Farm
Mainly producing quail eggs but also breeding other game birds such
as partridges, guinea fowl and pigeons. Visitors welcomed but you
should not visit any other bird farm before visiting their farm, maximum
group size 80, children under 12 should be accompanied.
Location: No. 5 Lim Chu Kang Lane 6F
Opening hours: Daily Mon. to Sat. 10am-4pm. Sunday 11am-4pm.
Closed for Christmas & Chinese New Year.

Qian Hu Fish Farm Largest
breeder of dragon fish, Arowana, and trader of tropical ornamental
fishes. Farm tours available. Free shuttle bus service from MRT stations
at Chua Choa Kang, Jurong East and Boon Lay.

Bollywood
veggies is a great place for the whole family; free-and-easy
or go for a guided tour which includes a delicious lunch. There are
vegetable plots to explore, a fish pond to fish in and you can buy
fresh organically grown vegetables as well as potted herbs. There's
also a lovely bistro (cafe).

Farm Discovery On Your Own. Free entry for kids below 12 years and

depending on meals selected.

Jurong Frog Farm
breeds frogs and deals with eels, turtles, catfish, snakeheads and
tilapia. There's a guided tour with video and hands on learning about
how to tell boy frogs from girl frogs and other froggy facts. Signup
online for the tour on their website.

Hausmann Marketing Aquarium
has tours for children aged 3-12 entitled "Rural Exposure for
City Kids" to view and learn about fish farming including the
8-foot long Arapaima, Parcu, Alligator fish and others. Kids can also
experience kampung life and enjoy 'longkang fishing' (fishing from
a drain).
