Sungei
Buloh Wetland Reserve
free guided walks
Let a guide
really show you the Reserve!
Going on a tour with a volunteer guide is the best way to see and
learn more about this special Reserve. The guide will be glad to adjust
the route to your group, your interests and how much time you have
to spend at the Reserve.
Among our favourite routes is the Mangrove Boardwalk
which allows you to get really close to the creatures in a mangrove
forest. It is also suitable for those with only an hour or so at the
Reserve, or with small children and older group members. Guides also
love to do Route 1, a longer exploration of
the Reserve and its many interesting plants and animals.
On Saturdays, there is usually also a Marine Fish tour to introduce
you to the fascinating fishes at the Reserve.
All guided tours are weather permitting and subject to availability
of volunteer guides. Please call the Information Counter at 67941401
to check if the free guided tour is on.
Pre-booked guided tours
You can also book a guided tour from Mondays to Saturdays at either
9am or 3pm. This guided tour is about one hour and covers approximately
1/4 of route one or the mangrove boardwalk.
For better guide and visitor interaction, pre-booked guided tours
in Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve will be limited to maximum of 15
people per guide as of 1 Jan 2007. The charge for the pre-booked
guided tour remains at S$50, booking should be made with one month's
notice. Admission fee applies on Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays
and School Holidays. All guided tours are weather permitting. More
details on the Reserve website.
Other educational programmes
Other programmes and tours especially for kids are provided by the
Reserve. More details on the
