8-10cm long. Body broad, hard with small 'pimples', underside yellow with brown or black spots. Coral rubble. Sometimes seen on our Northern shores. 10-12 cm long. Body broad, soft with faint dark ovals about 3-4 in three rows along the body surface. The pale underside has grey or brown blotches and spots. Coral rubble. Commonly seen on our Northern shores. 10-12cm long. Body broad, stiff body, smooth surface orange edges. White plain underside. Among living reefs. Sometimes seen on our Southern shores. 12-15cm long. Upper side with lots of conical bumps arranged in clusters. Distinctive underside dark with large pale round spots. Seagrasses and reefs. Sometimes seen on our Southern shores.

Body leathery, with a flat portion on the back where stubby gills emerge. The gills often resemble a 'bubble'. The rhinophores are stumpy too. Coral rubble. Sometimes seen on some of our shores.
