27-28 Oct: Singapore Bird Race 2007
for NSS members only

Organised by the Nature Society (Singapore) Bird Group, will be based on the theme "The Colours of Birding". Colours suggest not only the beautiful and vivid plumage of the 364 species of birds in Singapore, but also the different facets of birding experience. It could be the excitement of seeing a rarity or the joy observing a garden bird, busy looking for food. Colours also hint of the rich and unique aspects of bird watching such as the unique birding jargon, abundance of specialised equipment and not to mention the interesting characters you meet along the way!

The bird race will be held from the 27th to the 28th of October 2007. There will be two categories, "Advanced" and "Novice". The "Advanced" teams will race for a total of 24 hours and the "Novice" race for 19 hours. There should be a maximum of 4 persons in one team. We would like invite you to celebrate the joy and wonders of bird watching, do come and join us for the 2007 Bird Race!
