Where seen? These snails are sometimes seen in pairs on soft corals on many of our shores.

Features: 1.5-2cm. Shell white with three blotchy orange bars. Mantle transparent with irregular brownish blotches outlined in darker brown. . Found on flowery soft corals (Family Nephtheidae), especially in pink flowery soft corals also in ball soft corals.

Several similar looking spindle cowrie species can be found in flower soft corals including: Pellasimnia improcera and Diminovula alabaster.
