Where seen? These small batik-patterned slugs are sometimes seen on some of our shores. In seagrasses, and near living reefs.

Features: 2-3cm. A long, cylindrical body that appears to be made up of two parts. The parapodia are very short. There is apair of 'tails', one a little longer than the other. It has a tiny internal shell. The black pattern extends onto the inside of the parapodia, there are no blue markings on the front and back edges of the parapodia.

What does it eat? Some species eat bubble shell snails, hunting them by following their slime trail then swallowing them whole.
