Central lagoon (south)
 The southern portion of the lagoon has good growths of hard corals in the middle where pools of water form at low tide. These include some interesting corals such as delicate leaf corals and branching corals. As well as patches of tape seagrass. There are stretches of soft silty mud with crabs, sea anemones and other animals typical of such habitats.
