2-3cm. Shell round plain orangey brown. Body reddish in front, foot with white margin and pattern of bars and red spots. Sandy areas near seagrasses. Sometimes seen on some of our shores. 1.5-2cm. Shell round with 5 rows of brown spots. Body in front with four rows of orange or pink spots, foot with pattern of white bars. Seen on Cyrene Reef. About 2cm. Shell round, brown with a zig-zag pattern in white. On coral rubble. Seen once on St. John's Island. 3-4cm. Shell spherical with orangey brown bands, a small depression on the underside. Operculum is chalky and white with a dark spot. Sandy shores. Sometimes seen on our Northern shores.

3-5cm. Shell semi-spherical, plain white sometimes with darker blotches. A brownish patch on the underside near the shell opening. Operculum is amber brown. Sandy shores. Commonly seen on our Northern shores. 5-6cm. Shell oval tear-drop shaped, plain white. Often large bump on the underside near the shell opening. Operculum is amber brown. Sandy shores. Commonly seen on our Southern shores. 1.5-3cm. Shell thin, flat with three broad bands of dark brown stripes. A dark chocolate brown lip. Operculum brown. Uncommon. 4-6cm. Shell heavy, globular, very flat, smooth and glossy, plain cream or pale yellow to brown. Deep U-shaped depression on the white underside. Operculum reddish or yellowish brown. Sandy area near seagrasses. Sometimes seen on some of our shores..

About 2cm. Shell round with fine, regular spiraling cords. Shell opening pale with 3-4 teeth. Operculum with fine bumps. Common in mangroves. About 2cm. Shell round with thick cords and earlier whorls of the shell flattened. Shell opening has a brown spot and 2-3 teeth. Operculum smooth. In mangroves. Seen once at Lim Chu Kang mangroves. About 2cm. Shell round usually covered with silt and algae. Shell opening orange or red. Operculum smooth. Sometimes seen in our mangroves. About 2cm. Shell round usually covered with silt and algae. Shell opening grey to black with pale or orange rim. Operculum smooth. Sometimes seen in our mangroves.  

       
The animal can be 10cm long. Shell small (2cm) thin, white and flat with a large shell opening and is usually completely covered by the living animal. Seagrass meadows. Sometimes seen on our shores.
